Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: January 1, 2026

1. Introduction

code//jo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile applications and websites (collectively, the "Services").

Key Point: Our Services are designed so that we do not collect personal data about you through the normal use of the Services (for example, we do not run analytics, tracking, or user accounts).

There are a few cases where personal data may still be processed by third parties (for example, app stores and, if our apps show ads, Google AdMob) or when you choose to contact us (for example, via email). Those situations are explained below.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Our Services are designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Device information
  • Cookies or tracking technologies (except for local storage used strictly for app preferences like theme settings)
  • IP addresses (by us directly through the Services)
  • Any other personally identifiable information

Important: Your device, operating system, app store provider (Apple/Google), and our hosting provider may still process certain technical data (such as IP address, device identifiers, or diagnostic logs) as part of delivering the Services. We generally do not receive this data in a form that identifies you.

If our apps display advertisements, Google (AdMob) may also process certain technical identifiers (such as your device's advertising identifier and IP address) for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. See Section 4 for details.

3. In-App Purchases

Our Services offer in-app purchases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. When you make a purchase:

  • Payment Processing: All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).
  • Transaction Data: Apple and Google may provide us with limited information needed to enable or validate purchased features (for example, a purchase receipt or transaction/status information). This information is handled for purchase validation/entitlement purposes.
  • Refunds: Refund requests must be made through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not process refunds directly.

For more information about how these platforms handle your data, please refer to:

4. Third-Party Services

Our Services may involve third parties that process data independently (for example, Apple and Google when you download, update, or purchase through their platforms, and our hosting provider when you access our website). If our mobile apps display ads, we may also use Google AdMob.

Google AdMob (Advertising)

If advertisements are shown in one of our mobile apps, they may be provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). In that case, Google may collect and process information to deliver ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud/abuse.

What Google may process: This may include your device's advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID / Apple's Identifier for Advertisers), IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version, app version), and interactions with ads (e.g., impressions/clicks).

Your choices: You can reset or limit ad personalization via your device settings. Depending on your region and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

5. Contacting Us

If you contact us by email, we will receive and process the information you send us (such as your email address, the content of your message, and any information you choose to provide). We use this information only to respond to you and provide support.

We retain support communications only as long as needed to address your request and for reasonable record-keeping.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has contacted us and provided personal information (for example, by email), please contact us so we can address it.

7. International Users and Data Transfers

Our Services are available worldwide. We do not intentionally collect personal data through normal use of the Services. Nevertheless, third parties involved in delivering the Services (for example, Apple, Google, and our hosting provider) may process data in different countries according to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Your Rights Under Privacy Laws

8.1 European Users (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EU residents have certain rights regarding their personal data. Because we do not intentionally collect personal data through normal use of the Services, we typically do not have personal data for you to access, correct, delete, or port.

If your request relates to app store data (for example, your Apple ID/Google account or payment information), please contact Apple or Google directly.

8.2 California Users (CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific privacy rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not intentionally collect personal information through normal use of the Services, many CCPA/CPRA rights may not apply in practice.

  • Right to know what personal information is collected
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

Verification: We do not sell or share personal information. We do not collect personal information.

8.3 Other Jurisdictions

Privacy laws vary by jurisdiction. To the extent applicable laws grant you rights regarding personal data, you can contact us using the details below. In general, we do not intentionally collect personal data through normal use of the Services.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate for the limited information we may handle (for example, support emails). The security of in-app purchases is handled by Apple and Google through their respective platforms.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
